Email Us Our new address is 2547 Cloud Springs Road, near the intersection with Mack Smith Road. We're open from 10am - 6pm Monday through Saturday. Our signs are up, so you can't miss us! We hope to see you soon! We now have most of the books on the 2008 reading lists for area middle and high schools, and many of the titles on the elementary school lists.

If we run out of certain titles, we can usually get them back within a few days, and will gladly reserve copies for you.

We will, as we have for the past twelve years, give a 10% discount on all new school reading list books. We're striving to provide an interesting and informative website. If you have any suggestions, or, if you notice any errors (heaven forbid!), please send us a note. Many thanks.

Book Club Meetings

Have you ever thought about joining a local book club? Book clubs, or reading groups, are a great way to share your reading experiences with others. You'll make new friends, participate in stimulating and informative discussions, learn about the books that others have read, and find an audience for your ideas.

All of our book clubs are currently open to new members, so consider yourself invited to sit in on one of the meetings! Email us for details

Walk in the Woods
by Bill Bryson

The longest continuous footpath in the world, the Appalachian Trail, stretches along the East Coast of the United States through some of the most arresting landscapes in America. In the company of a friend, Bill Bryson sets off to hike 2,200 miles of remote mountain wilderness filled with bears, rattle-snakes and poisonous plants. With his offbeat sensibility, his eye for the absurd, and his laugh-out-loud sense of humor, Bryson recounts his confrontations with nature at its most uncompromising over his five-month journey along the Appalachian Trail.
